MP4xtractmp3 saves Loom recordings as MP4 files. Paste a Loom share link (loom.com/share/…), choose MP4, and download the screen or camera recording to keep, edit or store somewhere permanent.
It's the quick way to get a local copy of a walkthrough, demo or update without a paid Loom plan or a separate desktop downloader.
1.0How to convert Loom to MP4
- 01Open the Loom video and copy its share link (loom.com/share/…).
- 02Paste the link above with MP4 selected.
- 03Click Convert and download the MP4.
2.0Keep important walkthroughs before they disappear
Teams use Loom for onboarding, bug reports, product demos and async updates — recordings you often want to keep long after the link might expire or the workspace changes hands. A downloaded MP4 lets you archive a walkthrough, drop it into documentation, or re-edit a demo into something polished.
3.0Public share links only
This works with Loom videos that are shared publicly via a link. Recordings restricted to a specific workspace or hidden behind a login can't be accessed. Save recordings you own or that have been shared with you for keeping.
FAQ — Loom
Can I download my own Loom videos?

Do I need a paid Loom plan?

Are private workspace videos supported?
No. Only publicly shared Loom links work. Login-restricted recordings can't be converted.
